The 5 Best Episodes of Chowder to Rewatch This Summer
The Shreveport Convention Center will host Geek'd Con once again this year. Shreveport's comic con will run from August 14th through August 16th, 2026. This annual pop culture gathering brings comic book artists, media guests, and specialized vendors together in Northwest Louisiana.
Tickets and vendor booths are both available now GeekdCon.com, where you can also get info on the celebrity lineup. This year's lineup features stars like David Arquette, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Summer Glau, and Slipknot's Chris Fehn.
Another one of this year's guests is voice actor Nicky Jones, who played one of the most legendary Cartoon Network characters in history.
Nicky Jones and the Legacy of Chowder
Voice actor Nicky Jones will appear at Geek'd Con to meet fans and sign autographs during the weekend. Jones was the voice of Chowder, an animated series under the same name, that originally aired on Cartoon Network.

The show follows an eccentric young apprentice navigating culinary mishaps in Marzipan City. Audiences continue to praise the program for its unique animation style, frequent fourth-wall breaks, and creative food-based humor. Generations of fans find themselves still quoting the series years later.
Five Essential Chowder Episodes to Stream
Fans can prepare for this year's Geek'd Con by rewatching these top-rated episodes of Chowder. These are the episodes that represent the most acclaimed installments of the culinary animated cartoon.
Chowder Grows Up
S3E17 - 8.2
The series finale titled 'Chowder Grows Up' holds a peak 8.2 rating on IMDb. The story jumps twenty years into the future after the main character refuses to mature, forcing him to finally accept adulthood and take over the kitchen.
Burple Nurples/Shnitzel Makes a Deposit
S1E2 - 8.0
Both of these episodes highlight the absolute absurdity of the show. With highly quotable moments in both sides of the episodes. The vocal stims that are rooted in this episode have survived with at least two generations..."Would you care for a free lollipop?" "WOULD I?" "Would you?" "WOULD I?" "Would you?" "WOULD I?"...
Hey Hey It's Knishmas
S2E5 - 7.7
The Christmas episode, and a great one. Its one of the few episodes where one story runs the full length of the show, and its a great episode. From schmingerbread houses to sweaters made of fur, this episode really delivers. You could file it under "Cartoon Network Christmas Classics". And I'm sure I don't live in the only household that still says "Merry Knishmas" ever December, without thinking twice.
Grubble Gum/The Cinnamini Monster
S1E3 - 7.6
The early episode titled 'The Cinnamini Monster' focuses on the culinary crew venturing into the woods to find a specific ingredient tree. The apprentice gets sucked into the tree and shrinks down, only to discover an oversized monster living inside.
Panini for President/Chowder's Babysitter
S2E2 - 7.5
The 'Panini for President' part of the episode is peak "I'M NOT YOUR BOYFRIEND" energy in the show's lore...its actually the first episode where Chowder changes the catchphrase too. The second half of the episode, 'Chowder's Babysitter', is arguably the best Gazpacho episode. Dana Snyder is a sneaky important part of this series, and this episode shows why.
Make sure to get all of your Chowder merch ready for Nicky Jones this August!
