The Caddo Parish Department of Animal Services and Mosquito Control is offering free rabies shots to pets with owners living in Caddo Parish. While the rabies shots are free, they're available on a first-come, first-served basis. It's all a part of a free drive-thru event this Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 10 am - 2 pm at South Park Mall, located at 8924 Jewella Ave, Shreveport, LA, 71118. The shots being offered are good for one year and are available for cats, dogs, and ferrets. Owners will need to provide proof that they reside in Caddo Parish.

How can I have my pet microchipped for free if I live in Caddo Parish, Louisiana?

You can have your pet microchipped this Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 10 am to 2 pm as well at the drive-thru clinic at the old South Park Mall in Shreveport, LA. The Caddo Parish Department of Animal Services and Mosquito Control will also have educational materials on hand and information on low-cost spay/neuter services as well as mosquito and heartworm prevention. It's like a pet wellness fair but with freebies!
