Clear the Shelter with Free Adoption Fees This Weekend

Caddo Parish Animal Services along with several other shelters in the Ark-La-Tex announced that they will be waiving all adoption fees on August 17th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. If you want to help make a difference and you have been wanting to add a new furry family member to your crew stop by the shelter located at 1500 Monty St. in Shreveport.

You don't have to drive all the way to the shelter to get your puppy fix. The shelter will be out the Sci-Port Discovery Center on Saturday.

CPAS took to their Facebook page to tell the public:

"Not only are we having a "Clear the Shelter" event at CPAS this Saturday (17th) from 10am-2pm, but we are also having an offsite event at Sci-Port Discovery Center, from 11am-3pm! That's TWO different opportunities to come find a new furry friend! All animals will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped! Remember, a pet is a lifetime commitment!
