More Comic Book Talent Added to Geek’d Con 2024 Lineup

Shreveport's comic con, Geek'd Con, is coming back to Downtown Shreveport this August. The 2024 Geek'd Con will take place August 16th, 17th, and 18th, at the Shreveport Convention Center.

The guest lineup will include horror movie icon Tony Todd, Scrubs star John C. McGinley, the voice of Master Chief Steve Downes, award winning actor Billy Zane, the voice of Mickey Mouse Bret Iwan, and many more incredibly talented celebrities.

There's also a ton of comic book talent slated to appear at Geek'd Con. Including another appearance from comic publisher Scout Comics. Over the last few years, Scout has brought numerous names to Shreveport, and even some custom variant covers of books for the Geek'd Con audience.

This year, Scout is back, and one of the creators they're bringing is Greg Krivac.

Greg Krivac is a comic artist known for captivating audiences across the country. He is a cover artist for Scout Comics, and serves as Advertising Director for Scout Entertainment.

You can catch his work on the covers of titles like Never Wars and Solar Flare.

At appearances, Greg normally showcases tons of distinctive pieces, each reflecting a deep love for Star Wars, Star Trek, Marvel, and DC universes. Influenced by the iconic works of Alex Ross, Gil Elvgren, Norman Rockwell, and Boris Vallejo, Greg's art combines classic styles with a modern twist.

There will be a chance to get custom art from Greg, and all of the other comic creators, at Geek'd Con this year.

Having all of these stars at Geek'd Con gives you the ability to get autographs in person, and also your chance to get pictures with those celebrities. Most celebrities are all about taking selfies at their booths, but they also give you the chance to have a professional photo taken too.
