Community Renewal really rolled out the red carpet for these kids with a Hollywood-themed skating party!

Last night I got to spend time with some great kids from Allendale and other Friendship Houses that Community Renewal International (CRI) has put together. It was a Hollywood-themed skating party at Hot Wheels Skating Palace in Bossier city. Over 35 kids came out for free skating, hot dogs, nachos, cupcakes and a whole lot of fun.

I had a blast with these kids and despite their better efforts, didn't have to skate.

Community Renewal along with the Young Professionals in Shreveport, put on the event. CRI is working to build a better Shreveport-Bossier through fostering neighborly relationships among our community members. CRI "restores help, rebuilds caring communities and renews the spirit of cooperation in every segment of the community."
