The Owner of Country Tavern Has Announced That They're Opening Soon

Toby Pilgrim, the owner of Country Tavern Barbecue, addressed the four-year wait and explained that they had to change contractors. Unfortunately for Pilgrim, there were some serious concerns, and he has been working tirelessly with the new contractors to bring everything to code and fix all the errors the previous contractor made. To say that Pilgrim and his team have an uphill battle is an understatement.

Despite All the Setbacks, the Crew at Country Tavern Remains Positive

Toby Pilgrim said, "Other than all of the setbacks, it is looking great," after he listed off a nightmare of issues that they ran across when trying to open back up. With a positive leader like Pilgrim, it's no surprise Shreveport barbecue lovers are willing to wait for perfection. The entire team at Country Tavern Barbecue is eager to bring back the barbecue Shreveport loves, and they're not giving up on their dream to bring the eatery back better than ever, even if it's a 4-year wait. They have been working diligently to make it happen. Pilgrim has not given an opening date yet, however, we know it's coming, and we could be having our favorite steak by the end of the year.
