CyPhaCon 2026 Brings The Pink Ranger To Louisiana

Meet Power Rangers Icon Catherine Sutherland In Lake Charles

Catherine Sutherland stepped into the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers franchise during its third broadcast season to take over a highly recognizable role. She assumed the mantle of the Pink Ranger, as Katherine Hillard...replacing departing original Pink Ranger actress Amy Jo Johnson.

She holds a unique distinction within the Rangers franchise by portraying three different iterations of the Pink Ranger character. Sutherland was in the original series, the Zeo Ranger I, then became the first Pink Turbo Ranger...for both television and the theatrical film release.

Sutherland cemented her place in the franchise as one of the longest-serving cast members in the history of the Power Rangers. She accumulated over one hundred episode appearances during a continuous run that spanned three distinct versions of the series.

She continues to add to her Power Rangers record by returning to the Katherine Hillard role for modern franchise milestones. Sutherland appeared in the 25th anniversary episode of 'Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel'...and recently suited up again for the 30th anniversary special 'Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Once And Always'.
