Marvel’s Miles Morales Voice Actor Joins CyPhaCon Lineup
One of Louisiana's longest running comic con style events is putting together one of their greatest lineups ever. CyPhaCon organizers are steadily building the roster for their massive 2026 pop culture event in Lake Charles. The regional convention is scheduled to run from April 10th through April 12th inside the Lake Charles Event Center.
The celebrity guest list is bursting with geeky pop culture talent. You can meet Laurie Holden (Walking Dead, Silent Hill, The Boys), Anthony Rapp (Star Trek: Discovery, Dazed and Confused, Rent), and Catherine Sutherland (Kat Hillard/The Pink Ranger) for photos and autographs. Plus a ton of other great guests and comic creators.
One of those other guests is going to be web-slinging in to Lake Charles.
Bringing Miles Morales To Louisiana
CyPhaCon has announced that actor Nadji Jeter is officially joining the celebrity lineup for the upcoming three-day weekend in south Louisiana.
Modern video game enthusiasts know Jeter best for his prominent starring role in 'Marvel's Spider-Man' gaming franchise. He provides both the vocal performance, and the physical motion capture, for the character Miles Morales across the hit Insomniac Games series.
His initial work playing the web-slinger actually earned him his own standalone game release in 2020, 'Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales', before returning to co-star in the blockbuster 2023 direct sequel, 'Marvel's Spider-Man 2'.
How Did He Become Miles Morales?
Not only did Nadji Jeter create the Miles video game players know and love, he also voiced the character for Disney's animated show.
In fact, that's where his version of the character started. Before the video game version, Nadji voiced Miles for the show 'Marvel's Spider-Man'. Not only did he voice the animated version first, he continued to after the video game version debuted. Nadji would voice Miles in over 50 episodes of the series between 2017 and 2020.
Starting With The Last Of Us
Long before he was swinging through virtual city streets...Nadji delivered a highly memorable performance in another legendary PlayStation exclusive property. He provided the voice, and again the motion capture work, for the young survivor Sam in the original 2013 release of 'The Last of Us'.
His role in 'The Last of Us' was limited to just video game fans that played through the game over and over. But when the streaming series hit screens, a new group of fans developed. While Nadji didn't appear in the show, its popularity pushed new players into the game...where they got to hear more of his work.
