Dillas Making Quesadillas to Help Benton Middle School
January 11th was a terrifying day for many. Storms ripped through the Ark-La-Tex and unfortunately, Benton Middle School had some of the worst storm damage many of us have ever seen. We saw several business owners and community members step up and help get the middle school cleaned up so students could go back to school. The good news is that helped has not stopped pouring in.
The crew from Dillas will be cooking quesadillas fresh off the grill, with the proceeds going to benefit the school’s recovery efforts after the horrid storms. Is there anything better than delicious quesadillas for a great cause?
Pete John, owner/operator and team member for Dillas Quesadillas, said his team will be set up Thursday, February 6th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in front of Benton Middle School. They will be selling the Plain-o Chicken quesadilla with chips and queso for $10.
Pete John said “Our restaurant is committed to helping the community in any way we can, and what better way to celebrate this terrific school and all it does within this community than with quesadillas, chips, and queso."
Change dinner plans on Thursday night, help out Benton Middle School. “We can’t think of a better way to lend a hand than doing what we do best. That’s what community is all about.” John added.
