The Reluctant Traveler in an RV: See Eugene Levy’s Hilarious Louisiana Trip
If you love seeing the Bayou State get major attention on national television, you're about to be giddy. Eugene Levy's travel show, The Reluctant Traveler, has quickly captured hearts across America, and for his latest adventure, the Schitt's Creek star chose an epic Louisiana road trip.
Eugene Levy decided to take all of us curious people along on his bucket list travel experiences.
The Canadian actor, who is also famous for his roles in American Pie, decided the best way to explore our state was via an RV. His show, which is essentially what every traveler wishes they could afford to do, takes viewers on luxurious and exciting tours all over the world. This time, our swamps, food, and culture were the destination.
"Hitting the Open Road in Louisiana"
Season 3, Episode 3 of The Reluctant Traveler follows 78-year-old Levy and his travel partner as they immerse themselves in the deep South. The road trip kicked off in an RV park in Acadiana and went all the way to New Orleans, packing a lot of Louisiana culture into the 39-minute episode.
What did Levy experience?
- A thrilling swamp tour.
- His very first traditional crawfish boil.
- A spontaneous and slightly random motorcycle ride through the state.
Though we're a tad bit disappointed that Levy and his guide skipped Shreveport, the episode truly captures the beauty and flavor of the state. We think Levy loved Louisiana and hope he comes back for a visit soon!
The Reluctant Traveler streams exclusively on Apple TV+.
