
Illustrator Brian Steward, Known For Work With Fangoria, Coming to Geek’d Con
Shreveport's comic con, Geek'd Con, is coming back to Downtown Shreveport this August. The 2025 Geek'd Con will be the 10th Anniversary of the pop culture celebration. This year's even will take place August 22nd, 23rd, and 24th, at the Shreveport Convention Center.
For almost 10 years, the event has drawn tens-of-thousands of fans to Downtown Shreveport on an annual basis. With fans coming from as far away as Washington, Illinois, New York, Michigan, Iowa, and other states around the nation.
This year's guest lineup already includes a 35th Anniversary "Shell-a-Bration" for the release of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. Including voice actors Brian Tochi (Leonardo), Robbie Rist (Michalangelo), and martial artists Ernie Reyes, Jr. (Donatello) and Kenn Scott (Raphael). The four Turtles actors will be joined by Francois Chau, who portrayed The Shredder in the TMNT film universe as well.
You will also be able to meet stars like Alan Ruck, Ethan Suplee, Theo Rossi, Barry Bostwick, and Kat Cressida.
This year, Geek'd Con will once again welcome horror specialist, artist Brian Steward.
Steward is an artist, writer, and photographer who's work has been featured in Fangoria, Kiss: The Official Magazine, Scream: The Horror Magazine, Gorezone, and Heavy Metal. He is also a force with Fantasm Media, where you can find incredible work featuring KISS, George A. Romero, Sid Haig, and more.
With Heavy Metal magazine, he worked as lead book designer and contributing illustrator. He was also lead designer on Malibu Bay Films' DVD catalog.
Brian has also been responsible for some of the best custom art prints in Geek'd Con history. Including his classic Alice Cooper print from 2021.
