One Person Killed in Wreck in South Caddo Parish

One person has died in a traffic accident in south Caddo Parish. Caddo deputies say the wreck happened on Mansfield Road just south of Fountainbleau Road in Keithville at about 10:30 pm.

Deputies say the driver of a BMW 750Li was headed north in the southbound lane and collided with two southbound vehicles. One of those southbound vehicles flipped and burst into flames. The driver of that car was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two people inside the other southbound car suffered minor injuries and were rushed to a local hospital by private vehicle.  The driver of the BMW received moderate injuries and was taken to Ochsner  LSU Health by ambulance.

This crash remains under investigation by the Sheriff's Office. The victim's name has not yet been released.
