Geek'd Con, Shreveport's comic con, unfortunately had to miss the 2020 show due to the COVID pandemic restrictions around the state. But the show is back on for 2021! The show's return will be August 13th-15th at the Shreveport Convention Center.

The 2021 lineup looks like one of the biggest ever for the event. Looking at the lineup for this year, you'd have no idea that the entire show had to be scrapped last year.

This year Geek'd Con will be highlighted by Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member Alice Cooper, along with Jason Mewes (Jay from Jay and Silent Bob fame), Peter Facinelli (Twilight movies), Emily Swallow (The Armorer from Star Wars' The Mandalorian), Christopher McDonald (Shooter McGavin from Happy Gilmore), Murr from Impractical Jokers, as well as guests from Harry Potter, Marvel's Avengers Endgame, Supernatural, the Food Network, the SyFy Channel, and more.

Geek'd Con has tickets that fit all schedules and family sizes too. With kids 5-and-under free, low cost Kids Tickets, and Adult Weekend Passes that are extremely affordable compared to other comic con style shows in the region.

But for those who are looking to get more out of their Geek'd Con weekend, there are VIP Packages available too!

These VIP Packages come with a huge pile of lot before you even enter the show. Each VIP Package comes with:

These are the top actors who were born in Shreveport, ranked by IMDB's STARmeter in early 2021.

Comic Book Movie Stars Who Have Worked In Shreveport

We utilized IMDB's filming location database to help put this together. However there is one movie listed there that we didn't include. IMDB lists X-Men Origins: Wolverine on their Shreveport list, but we struggled to find citing for this. So we just left it off. Some of these stars weren't in comic book "movies" specifically. But we counted the Netflix Marvel shows, and MCU Disney+ shows as well.

History Of Geek'd Con Guests

Geek'd Con is Shreveport's biggest comic and pop culture event. Launching in 2015, the event quickly became one of the premiere comic con style events in the entire state of Louisiana.

A big part of that growth has been the celebrity guest lineups. Since the first show in 2015, the quality of guests attending Geek'd Con rivals any pop culture event of this size. From classic Star Wars stars to guests from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Geek'd Con has welcomed the biggest names from multiple generations. Here's a look at the history of guests at Geek'd Con.
