Originally known as 4C Coffee House, the popular local spot upset several residents in 2023 when it first announced its impending closure. At that time, its owners had taken to Facebook, openly seeking new management.

It wasn't long before a few dedicated community members rallied together, purchasing the coffee shop and rebranding it as By Faith Coffee House. Under this new ownership, the establishment quickly blossomed from a simple coffee stop into a bustling little eatery. Beyond classic coffee options, By Faith Coffee began introducing a variety of delicious eats, expanding its menu to offer not just breakfast but also an array of tempting lunch choices. It had truly become an attraction for Grand Cane and neighboring towns, a testament to the community's effort to save it.

Unfortunately for Grand Cane Residents, This Coffee Shop Might Close Again

Now, after almost two years of successful operation, By Faith Coffee House has made the difficult decision to sell the business. Owner Alicia announced on social media, "We have decided with all that we have going on, we would like to sell the coffee shop as a working business." She quickly reassured worried customers, adding, "I know what you are thinking, not to worry. We will stay open and operational as usual till the sale closes. We have loved every second of this journey with you guys! We just are not in a position to continue on."
