Dr. Todd Flowers from Mira Direct Primary Care joined me in studio to answer questions about coronavirus and the effects it's having on us in the form of added stress, which can damage our bodies in a multitude of ways.

2020 has been a tough year. We're going on our ninth month of a pandemic that's seeing its third peak. We're still enduring the fall out from a tumultuous presidential election and the stress that goes with it, along with a ton of economic uncertainty and oh yeah, here come the holidays. If you or one of your family members has gotten sick or God forbid, passed away from COVID-19, you've endured grief and unimaginable loss. Some have lost jobs, homes, businesses, marriages. Some have had to learn to be a full time teacher while being a full time provider. Some have gone through multiple hurricanes on top of everything else. People are hurting and it's manifesting in a lot of different ways.

Listen to my interview with Dr. Flowers below and learn more about the new way to enjoy primary care in NWLA. And don't forget, according to Dr. Flowers, the best ways to beat stress are prayer, exercise, eating healthy, and keeping to a normal routine.

If you'd like to reach out to Dr. Flowers about becoming a patient, visit Mira Direct Primary Care or call (318) 965-6020.
