Last month, we reported that the parent company behind Logan's Roadhouse has issued orders that all 261 locations close doors for good.  Then we learned that they "released" all 18,000 of their furloughed workers and quite a few executives including CEO Hazem Ouf and CFO Jim Lebs.  Business Insider placed the blame on these two executives for reportedly paying $7 million in sales tax without consulting the board - a move that seemingly left parent company CraftWorks Holdings unable to fund day to day operations.

Somehow, the company has reversed its position and announced that they are ready to re-open!  According to a report from the Shreveport Times, Logan's Roadhouse in Shreveport will be open for curbside pickup and/or delivery by this Friday (May 8th), with the Bossier City location on East Texas to follow suit a few days later.

The restaurants will offer a limited "best of" menu to start, and is already planning for the day when their dining room will be allowed to re-open.  Unfortunately, Logan's doesn't have an outdoor dining area.  That means no eating at the restaurants at all until the ban is lifted (unless you want to eat in your car in the parking lot.

The restaurants have been closed since March 18th.  If the reports of bankruptcy are true, the reopening is nothing short of a miracle.  Restaurant Insider reports that Craftworks was battling through Chapter 11 bankruptcy before the COVID-19 crisis wrecked the restaurant industry.
