Before I moved to Louisiana, I honestly didn't believe the "Bayou State" had beaches. Like many, I pictured endless swamps and marshes, convinced there was no such thing as a proper coastline. Discovering these hidden coastal gems has been one of my happiest surprises since calling Louisiana home.
