Prolific actor Lochlyn Munro is joining the lineup for this year's convention in downtown Shreveport.

With a massive resume spanning both comedy and intense drama, Lochlyn is a recognizable face to almost every fandom. We are especially excited for this addition...as Geek'd Con is bringing together multiple veterans of the Scary Movie franchise!

Lochlyn famously played the hilarious, hyper masculine jock Greg Phillippe in the original film, and he recently reprised the role in the brand new 2026 'Scary Movie'. The latest film has dominated theaters with record-breaking box office success to become the summer's #1 comedy movie.

Television fans know him well from his major role in the smash-hit CW series 'Riverdale'. Lochlyn played Hal Cooper, Betty's seemingly normal father, whose storyline provided one of the show's darkest and most memorable twists when he was unmasked as the terrifying serial killer known as The Black Hood.

In the superhero realm, Lochlyn delivered a scene-stealing performance in the acclaimed DC Comics series 'Peacemaker'. He played Detective Larry Fitzgibbon, the humorous and easygoing law enforcement officer caught up in the chaotic, violent world of John Cena's lead anti-hero.

Horror fans will also recognize him as Deputy Scott Stubbs in the 2003 crossover epic 'Freddy vs. Jason', where his character bravely steps up to help the teens survive the ultimate slasher showdown.
