Mudbugs Get Ready For Final Regular Season Home Games

Hard to believe this Mudbugs regular season is already coming to a close.

It feels like just yesterday the Shreveport Mudbugs won their first Robertson Cup Championship in the NAHL. Now, a full season later, the 'Bugs will be wrapping up their season at home this weekend at George's Pond.

This season, the Bugs have performed impressively, especially considering the loss of so may excellent players from last year's championship team, as well as losing their head coach. This year, this (very) young Mudbugs team has clinched a playoff spot with a record of 26-21. They currently sit in third place in the South division, but if all the right things happen this weekend, the Bugs could jump to the second sees ahead of their rival, the Lone Star Brahmas.
