Mudbugs Sweep Only Home Series of October
The Shreveport Mudbugs returned to home ice this weekend and they put on a show!
It's always a good time when our Mudbugs are back in town. The Mudbugs typically schedule the majority of their home games during the back-half of the season, an attempt to compete less against high school football and LSU football. This means we usually get two home games a month for the first few months of the season.
So far, the Bugs have played four home games this season, and they remain undefeated at George's Pond following their two games against the Odessa Jackalopes.
This weekend also featured a fan-favorite theme night, Wizard Night on Saturday. The team went all out to make sure fans had a truly magical experience, including specialty jerseys and a complete wizard-wash of George's Pond.
Congrats to the 'Bugs! Unfortunately, we won't see them back in action in Shreveport until December. However, they will be making it up to hockey-loving fans by playing EIGHT home games that month.
