One Person Shot At Shreveport Sports Bar Overnight
For the second night in a row, Shreveport is dealing with a shooting victim in the overnight hours.
Around midnight on Thursday night (into Friday morning) Shreveport Police responded to the Time Out Sports Bar on Mansfield Road for a shooting call. KTBS reports at least one person was injured in the shooting. Police started looking for suspects right away.
Late on Wednesday night, Shreveport Police responded to a shooting call on Hardy Street, where they found one male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. Detectives conducted interviews into the night, and eventually brought 29-year-old Skyler Thomas in for questioning.
In the Wednesday night (overnight Thursday morning) investigation, Thomas was eventually arrested and charged with one count of 2nd Degree Aggravated Battery.
These shootings come on the heels of a weekend shooting that took the life of a 13-year-old girl in Shreveport on Sunday. A rolling gun battle in the city took the life of Landry Anglin while she was in a home on Fairfield Avenue. The young woman was struck and killed by a bullet that entered the home and struck her.
