The Pussycat Dolls are back! The girl group just announced a tour and revealed their previous struggles with bulimia and alcohol as the reasoning behind why the group broke up in the first place.

Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts, Kimberly Wyatt, Carmit Bachar and Jessica Sutta will be reuniting for a 2020 U.K. tour, without member, Melanie Thorton. Pussycat Dolls founder, Robin Antin told The Sun that the timing wasn't right for her but the door "was and is always open" for her. The reunion comes after lead singer, Scherzinger, issued a public apology to her bandmates.

"First of all, I hope it’s different because WE are different," Scherzinger explained in the interview. "It is ten years on now. We all bring our own unique gifts to the group. I am so excited and we have grown so much."

Scherzinger believes that their previous issues in the group were caused by her battle with her eating disorder, bulimia, which she hid from the group. "I hid it from the world. I was extremely ashamed," she shared. "When you’re battling your own demons and insecurities, it’s not something you want to share with other people. I am just so grateful I could come out of that. It’s our flaws that connect us."

Wyatt added that their record company at the time wanted them to be skinny so they looked like "anorexic aliens."

Scherzinger was not the only one suffering at the time, Sutta was also battling alcoholism while in the group. "The lifestyle is not normal," Sutta said. "You’re drinking champagne in the morning on these private jets."

"You get really unhealthy habits which, for an alcoholic, is the worst thing that could ever happen to you," she continued. "I’m here to heal. I’m here to help. It’s been quite a journey and I’m not ashamed of anything. I’m actually really proud of myself. I’m in a really good place now and I’m with my girls."

Tickets for their 2020 U.K. tour go on sale on Sunday (December 1) at 10 AM local time.
