'90 Day: Hunt for Love' is a new 90 Day Fiancé spinoff with brand new faces, and one from right here in the 318. Now, Shreveport and the whole world can cheer for our hometown hero as he continues on a 90-day singles retreat.

A "Ratchet City" Romance: Shreveport Local Featured on '90 Day: Hunt for Love'

Shreveport and reality TV just go hand in hand, don't they? The nickname Ratchet City should be enough to explain how much drama oozes from this city. Jay, real name J Terrell Jeter, is a Shreveport native and is featured as one of the new singles in TLC's latest drama in the 90 Day franchise.

The new show 'Hunt for Love' follows previous 90 Day Fiancé participants who ended up single after all, being given a second shot during a 90-day singles retreat with other former participants and brand new singles. Jay's time in the spotlight on reality TV puts a spotlight on Shreveport, too, for better or for worse.

Depending on how things go, if 50 Cent's G-Unit ever pivots to a reality show format, they should definitely consider calling up Jay when the 90 days are up.

While doing research, we discovered a shocking error made by TLC when it came to Jay's hometown. Jay is listed in the show as being from "Shreveport," but according to the IMDB page for J Terrell Jeter, he "was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was raised in Haughton, Louisiana."
