Last week, the Shreveport Police Department had us laughing over a ridiculous yet genius way to spread the word about a theft at Lowe's in Shreveport. It was a beautiful "missed connection" and Shreveport Police just needed some help identifying the thief. We love a clever way to garner attention and kudos to whoever is running the Facebook page for SPD.

Shreveport Police is on a Hilarious Search for "Heartbreakers"

The Shreveport Police Department is at it again, instead of a "missed connection" they've introduced us to "Shreveport’s Most Wanted: Heartbreak & Hardware Edition". They chose the most perfect day to promote their new feature, Valentine's Day of course.

"This Valentine’s Day, we’re introducing two heartbreakers who know their way around Lowe’s—but not the checkout line. They’ll steal your heart… and a few power tools while they’re at it." they didn't stop there they gave the heartbreak contestants clever nicknames. It is unclear if this crime also took place in the same Lowe's where the "missed connection" happened last week. Why do so many thieves target Lowe's?

Contestant number 1 is Andres "Five-Finger Discount" Licon (04/30/1987) and contestant number 2 is Gerardo "Catch Me If You Can" Armendariz (10/15/2001). Shreveport police went on to share that "These two may be breaking hearts, but don’t worry—they’ve got plenty of stolen tools to fix them" The Shreveport Police Department is asking you to call them if you know the whereabouts of these heartbreakers. "If you see them, don’t let them ghost us". You can call Shreveport Police at (318) 673-7300 or Caddo Crime Stoppers at (318) 673-7373. Remember that all your tips can stay anonymous.
