Shreveport PD’s Viral ‘Missed Connection’ Post Has Locals Laughing

Do you remember the days of "missed connections" on Craigslist? Although this feature is no longer available it was one of the most used and entertaining uses of Craigslist. A "missed connection" on Craigslist was a personal ad posted by someone who saw another person in public and felt like they missed the opportunity to connect after they felt a spark.

Have you ever been driving down the road and locked eyes with a beautiful stranger and you can't get them out of your head? Have you ever crossed paths with someone who made you feel something you've never felt before and you simply must get to know them? A "missed connection" is a way to try and find that person again. You simply describe details about the "encounter" and wish with all your heart that they are looking for you too.

Shreveport Police is Winning the Internet With  a "Missed Connection"

This time it isn't about loss of love, it's loss of items from a hardware store. The Facebook post read just like a Craigslist Missed Connection would read. "Missed Connection at Lowe’s" and then it gets hilarious. "You: Casually strolling out of Lowe’s (2710 Alkay Drive) on January 30, 2025, with several tools that—oops—weren’t exactly paid for." SPD claims that this "heartbreaker" locked eyes with the security cameras.  "But there was something there—something that said, 'This isn’t over.'" We love a beautiful love story right around Valentine's Day.
