There's a famous Tex-Mex restaurant in Austin, Texas, that's not just known for its food. Instead, El Arroyo has become a destination for passersby trying to snap a photo of its hilarious marquee sign. The sign is so iconic that its merch can be spotted in stores across the country, and the restaurant even has its own online store.

One of my favorite things about driving down Shreveport's Pierremont Road is the sign outside Cuban Liquor.

Cuban Liquor is known for having one of the best wine and liquor selections in the entire Ark-La-Tex. The team holds monthly tastings and introduces new flavors to town, not to mention their famous "Bourbon Drops." Bourbon collectors wait for Cuban's crew to announce when a new bourbon is "dropping," a highly anticipated event for those who covet rare spirits.

Did You Know You Can Suggest a Funny Sign to Cuban Liquor?

Cuban Liquor updates both sides of the sign every Monday. Grant Nuckolls, the owner of Cuban, said, "We keep a big list and one of my employees chooses randomly each week. We do have a few that correspond to different holidays, weather, etc." He also said that if your suggested quote gets picked, your initials will be added at the end of the sign.

Is my new goal in life to get my initials on that sign? Yes, yes it is.
