Shreveport Parents Can Use These New Shoes To AirTag Their Kids
With the start of school in Shreveport and Bossier City just around the corner, parents are scrambling to check off the back-to-school supplies list and memorize new schedules. Keeping track of your children can be a nightmare, which most parents know because kids seem to often wander. A new product from Skechers aims to give parents a quick and easy solution before the whole city is hunting down their kids.
A Clever New Feature for Peace of Mind
Skechers' new line of Find My Skechers shoes comes with a clever new feature with a few incredible uses. Every shoe in the lineup has a compartment hidden under the insole that is shaped exactly to fit an Apple AirTag, a small tracker that uses Bluetooth and your phone to help locate it (or whatever it's attached to). The design is discreet and hidden well enough that your kid isn't likely to find it and take it out.
How These Smart Shoes Track You
The way it all works for parents is simple, as long as you have an iPhone. Once you have the shoes and an AirTag, simply set up the AirTag, then put it under the insole. Once the AirTag is in place, your phone can now track the location of the shoes (and anyone who's wearing them).

While you can track your child when they go off to school by using these AirTags, it's not GPS, so you won't have a live view of your child's exact position at all times; it's more like a rough estimate. The added benefit of always knowing where your shoes are is a good one, too, which Skechers knew, so they made the shoes in adult sizes, too.
