Rejoice Space Force lovers, the Netflix original has been renewed for another season.

I'm sure earlier this year you came across quite a few articles I wrote about Space Force. I had to be one of the most excited Netflix subscribers on the planet ahead of this show's debut.

The reason for my excitement was quite simple and can be boiled down to three main points.

1. My intense love for The Office.

2. Steve Carell

3. Greg Daniels.

Really, after looking at my list I guess it can all be boiled down to my first reason. I love the Office and was beyond thrilled to see Office showrunner Greg Daniels team up with Steve Carell for a new workplace comedy.

Then, season one hit Netflix and I took off work to binge it in a day.

I was brutally honest with how I felt about the first season. Of course, I liked it, but I certainly didn't like it as much as I hoped. For instance, I've watched every episode of The Office at least 15 times each. I haven't re-watched one single episode of Space Force. It's not that I felt the show was bad, it just wasn't as good as I would have expected.

However, there's one show that comes to mind that had a less-than-stellar opening season... That would be The Office.

If there's anyone that knows how to figure it out in season two, it's Greg Daniels. Luckily, we get to see if he can pull it off again as Netflix has renewed Space Force for a new season. The downside is that we'll have to wait quite a long time before it ever hits our TV screens. Production is currently scheduled to bein in Vancouver in 2021.
