Several NFL cities have constructed new, billion dollar stadiums in recent years. The league has a recent history of awarding Super Bowls to cities with new stadiums. The plan will reportedly include a $450 million dollar renovation. More Super Bowls have been played in New Orleans than any other city. The Crescent City is an ideal location, given the proximity, and abundance of hotels and restaurants.
