Only 3 men have played Superman in major theatrical films...Christopher Reeve, Henry Cavill...and Brandon Routh. Only one of those three has also portrayed Superman on TV as well...Brandon Routh.

Routh burst into American pop culture history in 2006 when he premiered as Superman in the Warner Brothers relaunch of the film series, Superman Returns. The film acted as the final entry into the original Superman film series that was launched with Christopher Reeve in 1978.

He returned to the Man of Steel role inside the Arrowverse, when he took on the "Kingdom Come" Superman role in the CW's Crisis on Infinite Earths event.

Routh also appeared long-term in the Arrowverse as Ray Palmer, The Atom, in Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, and DC's Legends of Tomorrow.
