This Sweet Senior Pup Wants to Come Home with You Today Shreveport!
Don't let this 'Chip' off the old block be the one that got away! Chip is a senior citizen, but at 7 years old, there's a lot of life left in this Doxie! I should know, the formerly stray Dachshund aka Mikey, that I rescued back in 2008, is about 15 years old now and just as busy as ever!
Doesn't Chip look like the ultimate snuggle buddy? If he's like my Mikey, just try keeping him out of your bed. He's still able to climb up on his own with the use of his doggy stairs. Why don't you find out for yourself? Make an appointment to meet him at Pet Savers of Shreveport and fill out an adoption application today! Chip is up to date on his shots and his adoption fee is $200.
Here's what the Pet Savers website has to say about Chip:
I am a senior Dachshund that came in with Lucy and Toga. I am about 25 pounds and they think I am around 7 years old, but I could be a bit older. My right eye is blind. Something happened to it in the past, but it doesn't slow me down one bit now! I am mild-mannered and get along well with dogs, and kids but tend to bark at cats. I may need some help to get fully housetrained, but I am pad trained and was kept outside at my previous home. I'm still settling into Pet Savers, but I would love to find a furever home all my own. Could that be with you?
Bristol's Babies shines the spotlight on adoptable pets right here in northwest Louisiana and with your help, we hope to eventually find them all homes!
