Comedian Tiffany Haddish Teaches Actress Barbra Streisand About Cardi B
Comedian Tiffany Haddish is blowing up like you thought she would, as evidence in her recently becoming the first Black female stand-up comedian to host Saturday Night Live. With such being the case, she is now moving in some big-name circles and interacting with some A-list celebrities, and keeping it real all at the same time.
Haddish recently revealed she'd run into 75-year-old, acclaimed singer and actress, Barbra Streisand at an event. In their time together, the comedian put Streisand on to the finer points of poet laureate, Cardi B. For the culture, of course. "Just so y’all know I taught my big sister about @CardiB_ today," Haddish captioned a picture of herself and Streisand posing.
Haddish seems to be an expert in Cardi-ism. During her appearance on Saturday Night Live, she spoofed the buzzing rapper during a sketch about faux auditions for the upcoming reboot of The Lion King that were left on the cutting-room floor. In SNL's universe, Cardi B and Offset tried out for the spots of Timon and Pumbaa.
Haddish, as Cardi, was dressed in a full-length mink coat and rocking an extravagant weave, while the fake Migos member sported a jean outfit, dreadlocks and shades. Haddish flipped the film's song, "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" into a Cardi-tinged version, while Offset applied the adlibs. Other rappers got spoofed as well including LL Cool J and Eminem. Haddish even returned and did a hilarious Mary J. Blige impression.
