Train is set to release a new album in September and today they gave us our first taste of what's in store.

Train's new album, Bulletproof Picasso, comes out on September 16 according to the band. However, it depends on who you ask because their label says September 23.

That's beside the point.

"Angel in Blue Jeans", the first single off of the album, has officially been released. It's a typical Train song that takes you by surprise and has you tapping your foot throughout. For me, I always want to belt out their songs despite not knowing any of the words.

This one didn't disappoint.

Bulletproof Picasso is the debut for Drew Shoals, Train's new drummer after Scott Underwood exited. Underwood had been with the band for 20  years.

Train will perform on the Today show this Friday.
