Why was this hospital such a popular spot on a Tuesday morning? Well, Santa and a snow day of course.
Browns Inflatables Has a Snow Machine and They Made a Snow Day Happen for All the Good Boys and Girls in Shreveport.
Browns Inflatables got a call from Operation Santa Claus to help make the trip to Shriners Children's Hospital extra special. They made it happen and everyone was playing in the "snow".
We Know That There Was a Lot of Soap Used in Making the Snow.
One kid loudly exclaimed, "I won't have to take a bath today.". Although we don't think anyone got a proper shower, we did see Shreveport Firefighters let loose and have fun in the "snow". They were definitely covered in soap at the end of the wrestling matches they had.
Several Kids at Shriner's Were Able to Meet Santa and Pick Out Toys From the Big Guy Himself.
The kids were all smiles. They got to meet Santa, and talk to several Shreveport police officers and firefighters.
Every year Townsquare Media Shreveport teams up with Operation Santa Claus and Graf Orthodontics to make Christmas happen for all the good boys and girls in our community.
According to the Shreveport Police website "Operation Santa Claus is a multi-agency, non-profit organization made up of law enforcement volunteers who sign up needy children to receive toys for Christmas. Operation Santa Claus is an officer-referred program. Once officers submit the names of deserving children, volunteers find the toys the children request, wrap them, and give them to the officers to deliver to those children in time for Christmas."
