WWE Hall of Fame Member Jimmy Hart Coming To Shreveport
It's so exciting to have Shreveport's comic con, Geek'd Con, back on the schedule for 2021. We had to unfortunately miss the 2020 show due to the COVID pandemic restrictions around the state. But the show is back on for 2021, with a return set for August 13th-15th at the Shreveport Convention Center.
Before the pandemic, Geek'd Con had become one of the biggest pop culture events in the region. With guests like Michael Rooker, LeVar Burton, Elvira, Peter Mayhew, Chris Sarandon, and more.
Now Geek'd Con is coming back in 2021, and tickets are on sale now.
For the comeback in 2021, Geek'd Con, along with Gimmick Tree Entertainment and GTCollectibles, welcome WWE Hall of Fame member Jimmy Hart to Shreveport!
As a pro wrestling manager, The Mouth of the South managed greats like Hulk Hogan, The Hart Foundation, Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, Jerry "The King" Lawler, The Honky Tonk Man, Nasty Boys, and more. He was also a major influence on one of the biggest wrestling faction ever, the nWo.
Jimmy Hart will be appearing with Gimmick Tree Entertainment and GTCollectibles on SATURDAY ONLY.
In addition to his pro wrestling career, Jimmy Hart is an accomplished musician as well. In the 1960s his band The Gentrys landed in the Top 5 on the Billboard chart with the song "Keep On Dancing". The song topped out at #4 on the chart in 1965. The song was also covered by The Bay City Rollers in 1971, and it became a hit for them as well.
