YMCA Celebrity Flag Football Game [RECAP]

Last weekend I took part in the inaugural YMCA Celebrity Flag Football Game... Here's what happened!

Let me start by saying I am still incredibly sore. I would have wrote this recap sooner, but I had Bronchitis and a lot of dental work this week. Still, nearly a week later, I can barely walk. This is after a simple 20-min flag football game. Clearly, this radio DJ isn't in great shape.

Anyways, the guests were broken up into two teams. The Blue Team and the White Team. On team blue, we had many of my friends including Tim Fletcher, Doug Warner, Scott Muscutt, and Mayor Adrian Perkins. The white squad included Roy Lang lll, Adria Goins, Ben Riggs, Robert J Wright, Erin McCarty, and myself.

The game itself was ruthless, each team went score for score. I'm not trying to brag here, but I reeled in two touchdowns myself, including one monster goal line-to-goal line heave from Ben Riggs.

In the end, thanks to a dropped touchdown catch as time expired, the White Team won by just a few points, and we all had a blast helping the YMCA kick off their football season!
