
65,226 Total Confirmed COVID-19 Cases in Louisiana, 3,180 Deaths
Due to the observance of Independence Day, the Louisiana Department of Health did not update the COVID-19 dashboard on July 4.
According to the July 5, 2020 noon update from the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH), 65,226 (up from 63,289 on 7/3) total cases of coronavirus have now been confirmed in Louisiana.There are currently 926 COVID-19 patients in hospitals (up from 852 on 7/3), 105 (up from 93 on 7/3) of which are on ventilators.
All 64 parishes in the state have reported confirmed cases. There have been 3,180 total deaths (up from 3,170 on 7/3) reported statewide with 43,026 presumed recoveries.
