Ellen DeGeneres Gets HBO To Give Comedy Special to Dying Comedian [VIDEO]

Ellen DeGeneres has done it again, but this story isn't about her.

Quincy jones is an amateur comedian who has one goal; To have his own comedy special. So he decided to set up a kickstarter to raise the funds. His goal was set at just under $5,000.

Oh yea, Quincy has stage four mesothelioma and the doctors have given him less than a year to live.

His story touched Ellen, so she brought him on the show. After his appearance, his kickstarter raised over $50,000!

She didn't stop there though for quincy. Yesterday, she had him on the show. She shared with him that she had negotiated with HBO and his one-hour comedy special will air later this Spring! She also delivered the news that Shutterfly was giving him $15,000!
