A couple who recently welcomed a baby girl, Emma, into the world has been catching some attention about the unique story that helped them become parents.

The couple, Tina and Benjamin Gibson from Tennessee, welcomed Emma this past November of 2017. Emma was conceived and then frozen October of 1992.

BTW! Tina was born in 1993 making Emma a year older than her own mother. I know, that is a tough one to wrap your brain around. Nonetheless, this is super interesting.

"Emma is such a sweet miracle,” Benjamin told their local news station. “I think she looks pretty perfect to have been frozen all those years ago.”

According to NBC News and Sean Tipton of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, this could be a record for the longest frozen embryo to be born. However, since these types of records are confidential there is no way of knowing for sure.
