This is Great News for Bossier City, LA Small Animal Owners
If your best friend has four legs and you live in the Bossier City, LA area, actually, anywhere in northwest Louisiana, this is fantastic news!
What's going on in Bossier that's such good news for pet owners?
Bossier City, LA is getting its first 24-hour emergency veterinary clinic. Previously, we only had access to one emergency vet clinic for small animals in our area located on Line Avenue in Shreveport, LA, but even it wasn't open around the clock.
Valor Veterinary Hospital is scheduled to open today, Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at their location at 1701 Old Minden Road in Bossier City, LA 71111. When you think about it, it's pretty perfect that they're opening on a holiday about love. Most of us love our fur family members so much that we'd do anything to preserve their life and well-being. I can't tell you how many times I've prayed over one of my pets hoping to make it to the clinic in time. Valor is open 24/7 and can be reached by calling (318) 725-5990. The doctor at the practice is Dr. Randee Monceaux, DVM.
FYI, in other pet news, there's been an uptick in positive cases for Distemper in wildlife, specifically raccoons, in Caddo Parish. Keep in mind, if numbers are up in Shreveport, they're most likely up for the entire area. Read more about that here.
