This massive event is the undisputed heavyweight champion of conventions in North Louisiana, bringing a massive vendor floor, and thousands of fans, to Downtown Shreveport. It also promises an unforgettable celebrity experience, rolling out a massive guest lineup that already features David Arquette, Shannon Elizabeth, Summer Glau, and Chris Fehn.
Now, the lineup is...morphing, into something else.
An Original Power Ranger Is Coming To Shreveport
Walter Emanuel Jones is joining the guest lineup for Geek'd Con 2026!
Walter was a founding cast member of the 1993 television series 'Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers'. He portrayed Zack Taylor, the first Black Ranger in the franchise's history.

During his time on the show, Walter integrated his personal dance experience into the choreography, resulting in his character's "Hip Hop Kido" martial arts style.
He was a central figure during the show's initial worldwide broadcast run.
But Jones holds a surprising distinction in the Power Rangers franchise, as he became the first Rangers cast member to return to the franchise in a different role. In 'Power Rangers: Lost Galaxy', Jones voiced the antagonist Nightmare. He was back in 'Power Rangers: Wild Force' where he once again voiced a villain, this time it was Gerrok, an Machine Empire general.
After time away from the Rangers, Walter returned to the franchise in 2023. He reprised the role of Zack for the Netflix 30th-anniversary special, Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: Once & Always.
Beyond his work in Angel Grove, Walter starred as the pilot Harlan Band in the cult classic Nickelodeon sci-fi series 'Space Cases'. His television and film resume also features appearances on 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer', 'Family Matters', and 'Moesha', as well as voice acting in the animated movie 'Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2'.
