The Ultimate Cosplay Rave, Cos-Kira!, Hits Shreveport as a Part of Geek’d Con Weekend

Shreveport's comic con, Geek'd Con, returns to Downtown Shreveport this August. The 10th Anniversary of Geek'd Con will be held at the Shreveport Convention Center, August 22nd-24th, 2025. The event is an amazing weekend where you can create once-in-a-lifetime moments with your favorite celebrities, shop from hundreds of vendor booths, and spend time with your friends & family.

Downtown Shreveport to Host Geeky Festivities

During the week of Geek'd Con, downtown Shreveport comes to life with geeky activities. This year you can look for trivia, cosplay karaoke, and other fun with Bear's on Fairfield. Keep an eye out for special screenings with The Robinson Film Center. And now we have another special event hitting the calendar.

There's usually some form of "afterparty" for each day of Geek'd Con. That means something Friday, Saturday, and often, Sunday afternoon. This year, the Saturday night afterparty is going to be a first for the history of official Geek'd Con afterparty events...its a Cosplay Rave!

First-Ever Cosplay Rave Announced for Geek'd Con Afterparty

Cos-Kira! コスキラ – The Ultimate Cosplay Rave will be held Saturday August 23rd (the same day as Geek'd Con Saturday), from 8pm to 3am. Cos-Kira! will be held at The Capri Theatre at The Capri Theater, 620 Milam Street in Downtown Shreveport, just a few blocks from the Shreveport Convention Center.

Nationally Touring KPop DJ Baeritoki to Headline Cosplay Rave

Fans will be able to enjoy an amazing night of cosplay, club energy, lasers, anime visuals, and some of the best DJs you can find. Including nationally touring KPop DJ Baeritoki.

The is a 17+ event, but will require ID at the door. It is a ticketed event as well, you can buy in advance now, including VIP tickets. Get all the info on tickets here.

Cosplay is highly encouraged, but not required. This event will feature a massive laster show with anime visuals, with "festival grade" sound, plenty of room for dancing, all in a safe, clean, and secure venue.
