Hey SBC, I’m new!
Hello everyone!
I am Ginger. I was born and raised in East Texas. I originally went to college to study film. I wanted to direct television and make short films and a wee-bit of photography. However, as fate may have it, I fell in love with radio while interning at a local radio station. I am a happy parent to three furry critters. Salem, my halloween cat. Rudd, my chocolate lab. And Harry, my handicapped mouse. One of the things that attracted be to radio was the music.
I have always loved music and dancing. I started taking dance classes at 5 because sitting around the house in my undies watching Rugrats was not ideal activity according to social standards (and my mom). I joined a dance team when I was 7, joined the high school drill team, and then danced in College as an Apache Belle at Tyler Junior College. Dancing has been a huge aspect of my life and now I am in that awkward stage of trying to figure out who I am and how to be an adult.
I am one crazy college kid! Let me tell you, my nights are pretty intense. I stay up all night crocheting, cross stitching, and even scrap booking. I know, I know. Pretty crazy, right? My go-to stomping grounds include Hobby Lobby and Michaels. Sleep all day, Craft all night. I have an amazing boyfriend who decided to up root his life to move out here to the Shreveport/Bossier City area and has encouraged me to follow my dream. I am so excited to be here at K94.5 and I can't wait to see what this new adventure has waiting for me.
