For today's #TBT, let's dive into a video full of cuteness.

I'm sure you remember that insane summer four years ago where the Red River flooded. It was absolute insanity. We experienced so much rain in a short period of time that the Red River rose quickly to its flood stage. Of course, at the same time, we weren't the only ones receiving a heavy dose of rain. The Red River north of us also received intense rain causing it to flood especially bad here in Shreveport-Bossier.

At the time, I lived on Clyde Fant, and luckily I got out before the true flooding began. The family and I stayed in a hotel room for a little over a week, until we could safely make it back to our home. If you were here in the Ark-La-Tex during that time, I'm sure you remember the constant, wall-to-wall coverage.

It was certainly comparable to the current Coronavirus pandemic at the local level, in which anyone and everyone locally was talking about our rising (and flooding) Red.

At that time, though, I realized we were hearing from everyone except an important (and cute) portion of our population. Knowing that, I drove straight over to my daughter's daycare with a camera crew to ask the important questions to our little ones. Who knows? Maybe they had a better grip on our Red River than the grown-ups!

Also, my daughter was three years old then and I feel incredibly old and a little sad re-watching this video.
