
Shreveport Welcomes NAIA Baseball: Pilots Lead the Charge as #1 Seed
The LSU-Shreveport Pilots, simply put, are an absolute powerhouse in the baseball world. They have set the record for most consecutive wins by a 4 year college at any level with 51 wins (and counting), the won another conference championship, and they earned the #1 seed in the nation for the NAIA Playoffs.
The Pilots will start their journey towards a 6th NAIA World Series Championship at Pilots Field on May 13th.
LSU-Shreveport Host Opening Round Playoff Games
The Shreveport Bracket of the NAIA Baseball Playoffs have been set. For the 4th consecutive year, the Pilots will be hosting regional play. This year, the #1 Pilots will be welcoming in Mid-America Christian, Johnson University, Ottawa University and Southern University at New Orleans.

All these teams are good and loaded, which should make for some extremely fun games to watch. LSUS ALONE is filled with top notch talent. Pitcher Isaac Rohde was named RRAC Pitcher of the Year. Josh Gibson was named RRAC Player of the Year. Both of those guys and 9 other Pilots were named First Team All-RRAC. Oh, and the team took home 6 Gold Gloves, too.

Tuesday, May 13
Game 4 – Game 1 Loser vs. Game 2 Loser, 11 a.m.
Game 5 – Game 1 Winner vs. Game 2 Winner, 2:30 p.m.
Game 6 – Game 3 Loser vs. Game 4 Winner, 6 p.m.
Wednesday, May 14
Game 7 – Game 5 Loser vs. Game 6 Winner, 11 a.m.
Game 8 – Game 5 Winner vs. Game 7 Winner, 2:30 p.m.
Thursday, May 15
Game 9 – Game 8 Winner vs. Game 8 Loser (if necessary), 11 a.m.
The winner of this tournament will advance to the Avista-NAIA World Series in Lewiston, Idaho.
