Get ready, Shreveport-Bossier, the local BBQ landscape is poised for a major shake-up. If you've driven down Airline Drive in Bossier lately, you might have spotted a new sign hinting at something big: Naaman's Premium BBQ & Prime Steaks is setting up shop.

This isn't just any BBQ joint, this eatery reportedly has all of Texarkana and its surrounding areas completely captivated. The question on everyone's mind in Bossier is can the BBQ truly be that good?

According to Naaman's website, owner Darby Neaves discovered his profound love for steaks as a teenager, teaching himself the art of cooking and smoking. That passion only intensified over the next 40 years as he meticulously perfected his definition of barbecue. What began as a humble food truck parked along the main drag in Ashdown, Arkansas, quickly evolved into a local sensation. It wasn't long before the team mastered the art of brisket, beef ribs, and porterhouse steaks.

While these quality cuts remain the cornerstone of Naaman's acclaimed experience, their menu extends far beyond just steak and ribs. You can find mouthwatering entrees like Chicken Fried Steak, Naaman’s Sausage Wraps, Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad, and Brisket Tacos, among many others. To perfectly complement these dishes, choose from fan-favorite sides like "adult" mac-n-cheese, green beans, potato salad, or coleslaw, all designed to pair with their thick-cut pork chops, mesquite-smoked salmon filet, or their signature sliced brisket.

After establishing a successful location in Hochatown, Oklahoma, Naaman's is now bringing its celebrated barbecue to Airline Drive. Although significant construction isn't visible just yet, the manager at their Texarkana location confirmed they are working "around the clock" to open the Bossier spot as soon as possible, eager to share their famous brisket with the Ark-La-Tex.
