Netflix is Raising Prices for US Subscribers
Last week it went viral that Netflix was going to start cracking down on people sharing accounts and now it looks like prices will be going up as well. The most popular plans will see the largest price hike going from $11 a month to $13 and the Ultra-HD plan going from $14 to $16 a month. The cheapest plan will be raised as well going up to $9 a month.
It's estimated that Netflix currently has almost 80 Million subscribers but with these new changes, they could soon see a dip. These prices will put Netflix on par with other popular streaming services price wise like Hulu which is $12 a month and Amazon Prime which runs at $13 a month or $120 a year. It's not sure yet what the future addition of Disney and Apples streaming services will have on the other services but I'm sure we will see it very soon.
