Geek'd Con is a certified pop culture phenomenon that takes over Downtown Shreveport every summer. It is the premier destination for anyone looking to celebrate the movies, games, anime, show, and art they love, with a massive community of fellow fans.
This year's Geek'd Con celebrity guest lineup is overflowing with pop culture icons...and now one more is joining the fun.
Shannon Elizabeth Is Coming To Shreveport
True pop culture royalty is joining the guest lineup for Geek'd Con 2026. The incredible Shannon Elizabeth will be coming to Shreveport.
Shannon is true film royalty and a defining figure of millennial pop culture. She skyrocketed to global fame as the brilliant and stunning foreign exchange student Nadia in the 'American Pie' franchise. Her unforgettable performance helped make the original 1999 film an absolute cultural phenomenon, cementing her legacy as a definitive Hollywood icon.
Fans of Y2K cinema know her perfectly for her hilarious turn as Buffy Gilmore in the genre-defining horror spoof 'Scary Movie'. Even better, her appearance at Geek'd Con means we are getting a Gilmore family reunion! Dave Sheridan will be there, which means Buffy will be reunited with her brother, the unforgettable Officer Doofy.
Shannon is also a beloved piece of the View Askewniverseniverse. She starred as the sweet-natured, jewel-thieving, Justice in the Kevin Smith classic 'Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back', happily reprising the fan-favorite role nearly two decades later in 'Jay and Silent Bob Reboot'.
Beyond the massive comedy hits, she has built incredibly strong horror credentials. She famously led the cult-classic Dark Castle remake 'Thir13en Ghosts' as the terrified teenager Kathy Kriticos. Her massive horror footprint also includes teaming up with legendary director Wes Craven for his werewolf film 'Cursed', starring in the 2009 remake of 'Night of the Demons', and making a highly memorable early-career appearance in the campy cult-hit 'Jack Frost'.
