If you've had to brave the somehow still crowded grocery stores and still come up empty handed, you're not alone.  I can't tell you how many times I have returned empty handed after a failed toilet paper run to Walmart.  Luckily, a solution has presented itself in the form of local restaurants.  I'm not suggesting you eat out even more, but I am suggesting that your favorite in-town eating spot could be the answer.

According to KTBS, some area eateries have started selling hard-to-find grocery items at their location.  Flying Heart, famous for their beer and pizza, is offering milk, eggs, lettuce, some sandwich meats, and a few other items for their customers wanting to avoid the big grocery stores.  The "shopping list" is available for your perusal on their Facebook page.  Not only does the limited grocery list help customers, Flying Heart puts the proceeds from the sale directly into a fund that helps employees that have been sent home.  Reportedly, the Retro Downtown Cafe is also offering some to-go grocery items.
