Toby is a Very Special Dog That Has a Love for Firetrucks.

Ryan and Nicole Hurd rescued Toby. The Hurds said Toby and his littermates were abandoned in a ditch in Shreveport 13 years ago and luckily all the pups were adopted by loving families. Toby has always been obsessed with sirens for a long time his owners say that Toby runs out every time he hears a siren and he howls along with sirens. Toby was recently diagnosed with cancer and the Hurds were told there isn't much they can do for Toby besides keep him comfortable.

The Hurds Had One Final Wish for Their Sweet Toby.

They wanted Toby the dog to be able to see a firetruck up close and hear the sirens so he could howl along with the sirens. The Hurds asked friends and family members if they had any connections with a fire station, it wasn't long until Shreveport's Fire Chief Clarence Reese Jr reached out to the Hurds.
